               Crime
                prevention measures

Little to no attention is given to a crime prevention construction
of the system. The materials used are generally of poor quality.
Even before its opening, segments of the ceramic tiles, floors,
and walls are showing signs of deterioration. The visibility of
some of the Passenger Information Booths is obstructed by ill-positioned
columns. The open construction of the elevated platforms is not
built to brave the hazards of the annual typhoon season and requires
constant cleaning. And to make matters worse, cleaning has met
with the difficulty of the inaccessibility of some of the constructional
                parts.
